Tru Fire Edge Release

Tru-Fire has been making releases for years now and is the largest manufacturer of archery releases in the world. Well known for quality and durability, they are 100% USA made and come with a lifetime warranty. This year I contacted Steve Tentler with Tru-fire; after seeing the new Edge release line and requested the Edge Buckle in the foldback configuration. Well after receiving the release and getting to use it over the last month, let me just say I have a new favorite release.
The foldback system is the best on the market in my opinion and along with the ultra comfortable strap, it is just one of those releases, you enjoy shooting. The foldback design allows you to get the head out of the way; from climbing in your tree stand to stalking through thick brush where most releases seem to be in your way it is a nice feature no other bow release manufacturer has on the market today. The head design on the Edge series is truly remarkable; it is as small as a dime in diameter and has a trigger that is smooth as silk. In fact, it is the smoothest trigger on a caliper release I have ever shot. The edge uses a linear motion bearing to accomplish the silky smooth feel to the trigger. Pull the trigger back to open the jaws and let up to close the jaws. You also have the ability to adjust the trigger from a heavy pull down to a hair trigger. The head on the Edge swivels as smooth as the trigger pulls. That makes it a true pleasure to use. Last but not least is the ease in which you adjust the length on the edge foldback. You simply loosen the small set screw on the sleeve and twist the rod to your exact sweet spot then tighten down the set screw and your ready to shoot, a true micro adjust release.   With all these features on a release you will not find a better choice for the upcoming season with its comfortable strap and silky smooth moving parts to its foldback buckle its truly the ultimate release from Tru-Fire.
